  • Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

  • The Infusion Center nurse is a specialized ambulatory care nurse, defined as a nurse who provides episodic care to patients for 24 hours or less in an outpatient infusion center.
  • The infusion center nurse cares for patients during their infusion time and upon completion.
  • The infusion center nurse also promotes self-management and assists family members or friends in caring for their loved ones.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 1-2 years minimum as a Registered Nurse in an Infusion Center and/or a Clinical Setting including but not limited to the OR, PACU, critical care or Same Day surgery experience
  • Registered Nurse License by the New Jersey State
  • Basic life support (BLS)

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • BSN preferred
